Dr. Kimberly Paterson

Sunshine Hills Dental Clinic offers comprehensive dental care tailored to the needs of every family member.

Both Dr. Persson and Dr. Paterson obtained their Doctor of Medical Dentistry degrees from the University of British Columbia in 1981, marking the inception of Sunshine Hills Dental Clinic in 1982. Their commitment to excellence extends beyond graduation, as they continually pursue advanced education in dentistry.

In 2018, Dr. Bob Paterson's daughter, Dr. Kimberly Paterson, earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of British Columbia, joining Sunshine Hills Dental with a passion for incorporating cutting-edge techniques and technologies into our practice.

Following in the footsteps of excellence, Dr. Kerry Li, who also graduated from the University of British Columbia's Dentistry program in 2017, joined our clinic in 2023. Dr. Li is eager to contribute to and uphold the legacy of exceptional care established at Sunshine Hills Dental Together. They provide a wide range of dental services, including preventative, restorative, cosmetic, implant, and prosthetic care.

In 2021 and 2024 respectively, after four decades of dedicated service, Dr. Persson and Dr Bob Paterson retired, entrusting the care of his patients to Dr. Kimberly and Dr. Kerry, who maintain the same high standards of quality and compassion.

When Dr. Kimberly Paterson isnt working at Sunshine Hills, she enjoys applying her education to global and local dental outreach projects, and has a passion for fitness, swimming and cooking delicious food. In 2021 she welcomed her first child and enjoys spending weekends with her growing family.

In her spare time, Dr. Kerry Li enjoys traveling and spending time with her dog. She recently picked up long distance running and is excited to train for her races.

Our Team

Sunshine Hills has been fortunate to have a strong group of dedicated professionals who are an essential part of the team. Each morning before you arrive, the team meets to review every patient's chart for the day to assure everyone's dental needs are met.

Sunshine Hill's receptionists are excellent at finding an appointment time that fits with your schedule and they work with your insurance providers to ensure that you receive the benefits available to you.

Our hygienists work closely with each other and the dentists to provide comprehensive care to each of our patients. You can feel comfortable asking our hygienists any questions you have about your oral health.

We also have a strong team of certified dental assistants who work closely with each of our dentists to provide comfortable and excellent dental procedures.
